Our original date was 14th November, however with the news of a second lockdown happening we moved the elopement forward very last minute with help from Avril and Alan. They were incredibly helpful during the planning process and very kindly acted as our witnesses. Our handfasting ceremony was followed by the “jumping the broom” tradition which Avril performed and was such a lovely touch to the day. All finished off with champagne waiting for us back at our Roulotte.
The location itself was so beautiful in autumn and the Zenaya roulotte we stayed in was perfect and cosy along with the hot tub under the stars. The light during golden hour on an autumnal afternoon, shining through the surrounding trees was truly magical and the intimacy of it just being the two of us was what made it so very special.
